November 2008
On Tues 4th Nov,a marker was set down for hope, for a brighter future and for change.
Senator Barack Obama became the first black president-elect in the United States of America.
I and millions of others watched in awe and celebration of an individual who proved that if we try and I mean really want it, then yes, yes we can.
It's going to take all of us to make a change...all of us!
That means all of us the world over, we can all do something, all say something, all mean something to one another.
Sometimes it takes an event of epic proportions to galvanise a nation, let's use this to galvanise the world.
In those early hours of the final election result, a very good friend of mine sent me this text...
Rosa Parks sat, so Martin Luther King could walk, Martin Luther King walked so Barack Obama could run, Barack Obama is running so our children can fly...
I'm not sure of it's originality, but it's statement is poignant.
*Congratulations* to Barack Obama and his family, *congratulations* to America and *congratulations* to all keepers of peace and change around the world.

October 2008
I managed to catch Moss live at the Dublin Castle in Camden.
Now I've seen Moss doing his stuff on his own acoustically and he's the business - no question, but when I saw the full band? WOW!
Amazing performers one and all. Fin on drums, Alex on bass and Moss on lead guitar - absolutely fierce!
I'm back in the studio working on music and lyrics for several artists including the brand new band drummer Joe - which leads me onto...
*New Band Member Recruitment*
We are currently having a look at the band line - up and are looking at recruiting a bad-ass bass player and kick-off keyboardist.
So if you know your Wendy from your Lisa, Marcus Miller to your Greg Philliganes by all means drop us a line at esa@nemesiamusic.com and let us know where we can hear you online ie - a link to your sounds or website.
Please do not send any mp3's but do include a little description of yourself.
Don't forget to leave a contact email or number.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Peace and blessings, Em.
September 2008
So the album Equilibrium finally came out officially on the 29th of this month - YAY! It's been a real passion and an often challenging labour to see it to fruition, but that's the whole point, right?
A big thank you to all of you who have been supportive of the project and even bigger thanks to those who questioned it. Why? Well you have to have balance in this life and an objectionable point put across often helps.
Even if it's just to confirm that you're actually doing the right thing!
A special mention to Mr Mark Forster who identified my sound and brought it to bear on the final mix down of the Equilibrium album. You are worth your weight in "hard to find credit"...lol
A nice crowd at Ruckerson hosted Boogie Bar Etoo at Cafe Lati Ri and even nicer sounds from Moodie Ibo, Bal and Magson Jazz. Great live music from Afriaka and Moss - Superb!
Okay on some of the sounds I'm listening to on the mini-disc player.
